India’s Aditi Ashok has always stirred up passions every time she made her way onto the greens. A force that carried women Golf in India to a global audience with an incredible skill, Aditi has always shown a lot of spunk.

Now, the young Golfer has once again garnered a lot of accolades by registering her best-ever finish on the LPGA as she rounded off the week with a tied-6th finish at the Texas Classic with a combined card of seven-under 135 on Sunday.

This was her third overall and second consecutive top-10 finish -- she finished tied-7th at Lake Merced last week -- on the LPGA.

Being India's top-ranked woman golfer weighs heavy on Aditi’s shoulders. The young Golfer is now aiming to be one of the best golfers in the world too after playing all the five majors in 2017.

After Thursday's play was cancelled due to bad weather and Friday's play delayed by eight and a half hours, the event was reduced from 72 holes to 36 in two rounds.

Aditi began the first round strongly, hitting two birdies in the first three shots on the par-four 1st and the par-four 3rd. She hit a bogey on the par-four 9th at the end of the front nine to sit at two-under. The back nine began with a series of par strokes before her progress saw a halt with a bogey on the par-four 13th. She, however, turned around the game for herself after shooting two birdies on the par-three 16th and par-four 18th.

It was hard to miss Aditi’s tweet.

Another good finish this week. Thanks to the greenskeeping staff for working extra hard through the tough weather and offering a great course to play here @OldAmericanGC @VOATexasLPGA @TheColonyTexas Huge thanks to @Vol_of_America all the fans and volunteers.

While the front nine of the second round began with a bogey on the par-four 3rd for the 20-year old, she scored a birdie immediately after in her next shot on the par-five 4th. She then hit two consecutive birdies on the par-three 7th and par-five eighth before ending with a bogey on the par-four 9th. Her back nine was nearly unblemished as it went bogey-free, with Aditi hitting birdies on the par-four 10th, par-five 11th, par-three 12th and par-five 15th. She even led the table and was tied-1st after the completion of 32 holes.

A series of par strokes followed as Aditi finished five-under 66 in round 2 with a total of seven-under 135 to finish tied-6th -- four shots behind winner Park Sung-Hyun from South Korea.
