You have to give it to this adept golfer who has encouraged every young Indian to not shy away from breaking the mould and setting new trends to transform the world. 19-year-old Aditi Ashok’s rise as a dominant force in the international Golf landscape has been meteoric.

This time, Aditi scripted an exclusive piece of history by becoming became the first player from India to contest all five majors on the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) Tour in one season.

By participating in the Evian Championships in France, the young talent set new records by becoming the only Indian golfer to compete in the five annual major championships on the elite circuit. However, Aditi carded a disappointing six-over 77 to crash out of the weather-hit Evian Championships, the fifth and final Major for women, here.

Aditi had an extremely rough outing to register her first one-over 72. In the second round, Aditi had four bogeys and a double in conditions that have been tough through the week and the event reduced to 54 holes.
