The year 2018 has started to be an eventful year for the world of Golf, providing us a plethora of moments to cherish. For all the ardent Golf lovers, the heartening comebacks of Golfing legends Rory McIlroy and Tiger Woods are nothing less than a spectacle.
Tiger Woods has shown a stellar performance
The great performances of both the Golfing legends bear testimony to the fact that sportsmen with a class and grit have the ability to rise like the Phoenix (from the ashes).
Tiger Woods, at the Farmers Insurance Open, silenced his critics and proved that his short game and creativity are still intact. Woods still knows how to get the ball into the hole even when his driver is not a model of consistency.
More importantly, he came through 72 holes on a tough course without any obvious signs of physical discomfort.
It was a far cry from 12 months ago when, in obvious pain, he gingerly completed 36 holes at the same venue.
Despite the fact Rory Mcllroy failed to seal the deal at the Dubai Desert Classic, he showed a lot of promise.
Rory McIlroy showed a lot of class and grit
With eight holes of the Dubai Desert Classic to play, Rory McIlroy, who led by two from Li Haoting, was looking to end his 2-year title drought.
But two hours later, it was a huge disappointment for Rory, as Li snatched victory from him to become the first ever Asian winner of Dubai Desert Classic.
