Thai star Golfer Onnarin Sattayabanphot exuded class and determination when she went on grab her first title of the year and her third on the LPGA Japan tour.
Onnarin has carved a niche of her own in the Golfing circuit
The 33-year-old Golfer impressed her fans with her magnificent performance and won the ¥60 million (18 million baht) Golf 5 Ladies Professional Golf Tournament in Chiba yesterday.
Initially, she was trailing Golfer Megumi Shimogawa by one shot after two rounds.
Later the Thai golfing icon closed with three straight birdies for a sizzling eight-under 64 to win the title on 12-under 204, five shots ahead of second placed Shimogawa at the Golf 5 Country Oak Bridge layout.
Earlier, Onnarin clinched her debut title at the Hoken no Madoguchi Ladies Cup in 2013 before taking the Daikin Orchid Japan Ladies Professional Golf Association title the following year.
After the historic win, Onnarin expressed her happiness to have won again.
It would be interesting to see if the Thai Golfer continues to sustain the progressive momentum and delivers result.
