About Arrow: The world knows Aarav as Arrow. Arrow is currently 11 years old and proudly represents Australia at international junior golf tournaments. Arrow first got introduced to Golf at the age of 4, and has been coached by coach Amit Dube since then and trains at The Noida Golf club. Arrow loves all things sports, enjoys his Art and in September 2018 launched an own campaign called ‘Hats Off Campaign ‘ to provide maintenance staff with caps at sporting venues. He studies at The British School (New Delhi) and is supported for strength, conditioning and nutrition by the fantastic team at Sporting Ethos. Arrow has recently started his own YouTube channel where he shares his golf journey.

 

Why Golf and not any other sport: Because I have a coach my family and I get along really well with ... while learning golf has been the most structured and consistent part of Arrows life over the past 7 years in terms of coaching and tournaments, Arrow enjoys playing all sports particularly basketball, baseball and tennis.

5) 2nd 2017 Albatross International Junior Golf championships (India)

6) 5th 2018 Albatross International Junior Golf championships (India)

 

Interesting and funny moments: Caddies in India can’t pronounce my nickname Arrow correctly, it sounds like they address me as RO, as in Kent RO!

 

What would Arrow like to change about Golf: The attire! I would like to get rid of collared T-shirt’s and have regular sports T-shirt allowed.

 

Dream four-ball: Arrow, Glen Maxwell (Australian cricketer), Adam Scott ( Australian Golfer), Henrik Stenson ( Swedish Golfer)

 

Challenges as a junior Golfer: Juggling school, other interests and Training/ competition Golf.  Lack of time - so much to do and such little time!
