The big news came from the mouth of Greg Norman, CEO of LIV Golf as 'At the conclusion of LIV´s successful inaugural season, Atul Khosla decided to move on. ' He added, "We respect AK and his personal decision."
Atul Khosla was serving as the Chief Operating Officer till the Saudi Backed LIV Golf received his resignation just over a year after his appointment having previously served at the designation of chief corporate development and brand officer with the NFL's Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Atul Khosla
We all know the face and voice of LIV , as Greg Norman but despite that, Khosla was taken as the pride in the organization to be the man to lead the Saudi Arabia sovereign wealth fund towards legitimacy in the sports world.
Norman had this to say about Khosla last December: “The strategic experience Atul brings from his recent leadership positions at a major sports franchise will enable us to execute on our vision of holistically improving and elevating the game of golf around the world. His appointment is yet another example of our dedication to bringing best-in-class talent to help us deliver our mission of growing the game of golf.”

Khosla´s resignation comes as a big setback for the league.
LIV Golf launched last year as a higher-paying PGA Tour alternative where many top players have signed with LIV Golf including Phil Mickelson, Dustin Johnson, Brooks Koepka and British Open champion Cameron Smith all signed on for more than $100 million.
The luring process has been playing a role in dividing the sport industry across the globe , specially in the past year further becoming a reason of criticism for Saudi Investment giving way to the violations of country’s human rights.
According to the sources , Atul’s departure may hamper the coming season of the LIV where recently it had announced the venues for its three in the United States for the 2023 campaign , which is likely to begin in February.
