Diksha Dagar secured third place at Ladies Open de France

She said ” I’m very happy to see the direction that my game is heading in''. Acquiring third position in Ladies Open De France associated with Golf Ladies European Tour , Diksha Dagar stated the above comment. This tour was scheduled from Sept 15, 2022 to Sept 17, 2022 at Deauville in France. Match took place on the magnificent Golf  Barrière course. Golfers were competing for a total prize money of 325,000 euros.

By the end of the first round, Dagar stood at 6 Bogeys and 3 birdies , along with one eagle and these three birdies were hit straight on the first three holes. But she clearly converted all her Bogeys in birdies by the end of the second round. Number of birdies increased from 6 to 8 at the end of the third round. Dagar scored a superb seven under 64 in the final round to stand at third place in France. At Golf Barrière, the winning duo Ines Laklalech and Meghan MacLaren took home the prize money.

 

 

Diksha is among one of the leading ladies Golfer in India who is also hearing impaired and has won many titles including Singapore Ladies Amateur Open Championship in 2018 and Investec South African Women's open in 2019. She is the only golfer who has won two deaflympics medals, a silver medal in 2017 and a gold medal in 2022.
