By the end of a delayed Round 2 on Saturday morning, Xander Schauffele managed to maintain his lead at 11 under par 63, though the rest of the leaderboard did hold changes for the score.

The halt in Round 2 was an off-guard and in-flow for a lot of people. While Xander Schauffele chose to shine through the lightning with three birdies and an eagle, Anirban Lahiri took a massive trail off to T24 at 3 under par 72 along with names like Collin Morikawa, Patrick Reed, Tommy Fleetwood and more. While it seems a little disheartening, yet the onset of Round 3 might just make things better.

Hideki Matsuyama finished a second-round 64 this morning and earned a spot in the final group this afternoon. It was as if he came out of bed with the goal of - wake up, make birdie, climb the leaderboard.

While Sepp Straka still lurks high on the leaderboard at T4 at 8 under par 71 along with Sweden’s Alex Noren and China’s Mito Pereira and is yet to start off his Round 3.

The close of Round 2 came in the early morning, yet the beginning of Round 3 didn’t take much time at Kasumigaseki Country Club. With a lot more patience and resilience, let’s settle onto who’ll make it to the finals by the end of Saturday.
