The PGA Tour broadcast schedule for 2022 has been released, and it's jam-packed with excellent tournaments at incredible venues starring the finest golfers in the world. Everything revolves around the Masters in early April and the PGA Championship in late May, but there are lots of other fantastic tournaments in the vicinity.
CBS Sports will broadcast 20 events across four nations, including the Scottish Open and the Mexico Open for the first time.
At the end of January, a new-look Farmers Insurance Open kicks things off. To avoid the NFL playoffs on Sunday afternoon, the event at Torrey Pines will start on Wednesday and end on Saturday evening at 8 p.m. ET on CBS in primetime. The third round will also be broadcast on CBS in primetime on Friday evening.
The Mexico Open, which takes place in early May following the RBC Heritage and Zurich Classic and just before the PGA Championship at Southern Hills, is the first new event since the Masters. A year after Phil Mickelson won the most exciting major of the last few years, CBS will cover the weekend rounds from Tulsa. The PGA Championship is being televised on CBS for the 32nd year in a row.
The complete schedule is given below:
