LPGA Thailand 2023 dates out!

The LPGA Thailand 2023 National Qualifiers will take place from January 9th-10th 2023 at the famous Siam Country Club Rolling Hills, Pattaya  for which the registrations are open from 5th - 23rd December 2022 along with a registration fee of 2,500 Baht, 100% of which will be part of the tournament’s charitable donation. 


Local female players can take their swing at these Qualifiers and save them an exclusive opportunity to enter at the 16th edition of LPGA Thailand 2023 which will be held from February 23-26th, 2023 at the same Siam Country Club Old Course, Pattaya Chonburi Province.

 


The LPGA Tournament has been held in Pattaya since 2006 and has taken over a 16 year legacy furthermore world’s best LPGA players compete against each other for a total purse of $1.7 million USD. This is somewhere emphasizing on the golf tourism to which Thailand has earned as a recognised golf destination. This world-class tournament is also supported by the Sports Authority of Thailand, National Sports Development Fund (NSDF) and Tourism Authority of Thailand. 

 

This is the fifth consecutive year of the National Qualifiers which helps in enhancing the country’s golf industry. One of the requirements to compete in this major tournament is to have a certified handicap of 2.0 or less as of submission date. It will be a 36 holes event. 

 

 

Since this platform is serving and driving inspiration among several elite female golfers , they are all set to welcome back Thai phenomenons such as Atthaya Thitikul (LPGA Tour's 2022 Rookie of the Year and former World No. 1), Patty Paphangkorn Tavatanakit (2021 ANA Inspiration champion), Moriya Jutanugarn (two-time LPGA winner) and Ariya Jutanugarn (Honda LPGA Thailand 2021 winner) in addition to new and aspiring Thai talents.
