The leader of the day, Rashid Khan emerged from a stormy and rainy day on the top of the leaderboard on the third day of DGC Open 2023 presented by mastercard, Started with a double bogey on the 1st. But what he picked after that was great, four birdies on the front nine and parred four holes. He teed from 9th but got that shot in the bushes, after a struggle from those bushes, he got a great shot to the greens and managed to have a par shot on the 9th. 10th was again a great tee shot where he swung well. Second shot on the same hole was where he got the ball on the greens but the weather today took the enthusiasm when the leaders, Chikkarangappa and Rashid moved onto the 11th hole and the game got suspended due to the unsuitable weather conditions. He had won last in 2014 and finished 2nd 5 times since then.

Back with 10-under till he was on 11th, got the lead for the day. Rashid finished with a total score of 11-under (67, 70, 68) having a bogey free back nine was the highlight for him.
While talking to 4moles.com, he said, “ these kinds of rounds give you confidence and when i shot a bogey free round on the first day of the tournament, gives you a lot of momentum and i think that i came back quite strong in this round”.

Chikkarangappa S was already with his second shot using a 7 iron on the 9th and got the hit exactly where he was thinking with all his dreamy and determined eyes. Chikka completed his front nine on the third day of the tournament going with all par shots except a bogey on the 3rd. His tee shot from the 10th and 11th was quite mesmerizing with a great ball sound. He finished 2nd on the third day of the tournament at Delhi Golf Club with a total score of 8-under (68,66,74), three strokes behind the leader Khan. He played 2-over for the day with no birdie. He accounted for 2 bogeys on 3rd and 15th and parred the rest holes.

Om Prakash Chouhan , rising Indian star tied-3 along Baisoya accounting two birdies on 1st and 10th. He got three bogeys on 2nd, 3rd and 12th.

Another star player who got his balls right on the greens is Matt Killen from England who got birdies on the last holes of the front nine. What didn't go well was his two bogeys on the 2nd and 3rd and then two on the 16th and 18th and finished tied-6 for the day.
