The leader of the day, Rashid Khan emerged from a stormy and rainy day on the top of the leaderboard on the third day of DGC Open 2023 presented by mastercard, Started with a double bogey on the 1st. But what he picked after that was great, four birdies on the front nine and parred four holes. He teed from 9th but got that shot in the bushes, after a struggle from those bushes, he got a great shot to the greens and managed to have a par shot on the 9th. 10th was again a great tee shot where he swung well. Second shot on the same hole was where he got the ball on the greens but the weather today took the enthusiasm when the leaders, Chikkarangappa and Rashid moved onto the 11th hole and the game got suspended due to the unsuitable weather conditions. He had won last in 2014 and finished 2nd 5 times since then.
