Golf is a sport to include different rules and regulations likewise of many other global sports and disobeying these rules may lead the golfer into penalties. It is not demanded that every golfer should have a liking towards every golf rule and repealing a fine against those rules may not be observed as a big problem in the golf game. In actual fact there are several rules which may lead a leading player to get eliminated from the tournament.
The latest revision in the rules were specifically made to understand and make the game more efficient and effective for the players.

This latest edition focuses on both inclusion and sustainability. Unparalleled, the modifications in certain rules have taken place for the first time, where Players with disabilities have been fully incorporated into the playing rules without the need to adopt a local rule. Some penalties have been eased up along with language clarification to guide golfers at all levels of play.

Thomas Pagel, USGA Chief Governance Officer commented, “The growing popularity of golf continues to guide our decision-making and modernizing the Rules to promote inclusivity and accessibility is clearly a great step in the right direction”. “This latest evolution is especially important to the community of golfers with disabilities, and we hope it will encourage more people to play and enjoy the game.”
It is reminded to the players that for the remainder of 2022 , the current edition of the Rules of Golf (2019) will be implied.
