Divjot Gupta secured victory in the Boys 8 and Under division at the US Kids Malaysian Championships, posting rounds of 40-37-36 for a cumulative score of 5-over across 27 holes. This commanding performance granted him a comfortable six-shot lead over Michael Lumy from Indonesia.

In the same category, Ruslaan Alam Khan, another promising Indian player, clinched the third spot.

India's representation at the Glenmarie Golf and Country Club in Kuala Lumpur extended further, with Arshvant Srivastava securing second place in the boys 13–14 division. However, he stumbled on the final day, conceding the top position to Kang Geon from Korea.

Sohang Har Kantor finished seventh with a score of 79, while Ved Sai Machiraju claimed the 14th position with a score of 81 in the boys 13–14 category.

Jot Sarup Gupta exhibited commendable performance in the boys 10 and under category, finishing fourth with a score of 87. Aoran Zhang from China emerged victorious in this category with an impressive final round score of 74.

The tournament, which hosted over a hundred participants spanning ages five to 18, spanned three days. It offered World Amateur Golf Ranking points and priority points for entries into the US Kids World Championships in the USA and European Championships later in the year.

A total of 106 junior golfers from 16 countries, with 37 from Malaysia, competed in the three-day tournament. The US Kids Malaysian Championships mark the initiation of regional nationals under the US Kids umbrella in Asia for the year, paving the way for similar events in Thailand, Singapore, and India.

Upcoming National Championships include events in Thailand, Singapore, and India, confirmed for December 2024. Additional championships in various Asian countries are also in the pipeline. For those who miss out on major championships, opportunities exist to participate in US Kids International Championships in other countries, potentially leading to entry into the next World Championships.
