The tournament is held over 8 qualifying venues in Malaysia, in various scenic championship courses designed by the legendary Roland Fream, Robert Treant Jones Jr, Graham Marsh & 5 times British Open Champion Peter Thomson.

4 players form a team & can participate in the gross/nett category. At each venue 3 teams from gross & 2 from nett qualify for the Grand Finals. This year over 800 players from 27 countries took part. India qualified from Sabah in May this year. The finals were held at Nexus Golf Resort, Sabah.

The winning team consisted of Amit Luthra, Amish Jaitha, Suman Puri & Aditya Bhandarkar. They won against Brunei by a whopping 22 shots.
