LIV golf to make its Asian Debut at Stonehill, Bangkok.

LIV golf is racing towards hosting the biggest tournament ever to be held on Asian land. It is a $25 million LIV golf Invitational Bangkok. This tournament will be held at Stonehill , a new private golf course on Oct 7, 2022 to Oct 9, 2022.  48 best golfers will be playing in a team of 4 including defending open Champion Cameron Smith , big hitting Bryson DeChambeau and multiple-major winners Dustin Johnson, Phil Mickelson, and Brooks Koepka. Hometown heroes Sadom Kaewkanjana and Phachara Khongwatmai will also join the tournament. Other big names who all will be a part of the event are Henrik Stenson, Lee Westwood, Ian Poulter, Sergio Garcia, Louis Oosthuizen and Patrick Reed.

 

 

Greg Norman, CEO and Commissioner of LIV Golf also  addresses by saying ''Everyone at LIV Golf is enormously excited to bring our innovative format and elite competition to Thailand and the people of Asia, one of the most exciting and rapidly developing golf landscapes in the world. A big energetic event full of live Music, Great food and good vibes can be an illustrious experience for the players and viewers alike. 12 teams with top players competing it out on this magnificent new golf course will even scale this event at a great hype.

Thai big name Phachara Khongwatmai has earned his spot by giving some incredible performances in the Asian Tour’s new marquee International Series events, which are assisted by LIV Golf.  The Player stated “ “To be playing in an event of this scale at home in Thailand is something I could only have dreamed of growing up. The quality of the field is unlike any golf event that will ever have competed here, which makes this a huge moment for not only golf, but sport in Thailand and in Asia”. 

 

 

Located on 340-acres in the Pathum Thani province, this course can be a thrilling-cum- adventurous affair for everyone.
