Young Indian golfer, Veer Ahlawat is moving towards his first win on the DP World Tour. Tied-4, Veer had a bogey free front nine on the third day of the tournament with a score of 5-under by the end of the third round. He accounted for one bogey on the 14th and birdied 5 out of 18. He missed his birdie shot on the 18th and got parred on the same.

Still maintaining his lead in the, German golfer Yannik Paul, had a score of 11-under making three consecutive birdies on the 6th, 7th and 8th got him to have the lead on the third day also. 28 years old, Paul got two bogeys on the front nine and one on the back nine, playing one-under for the day.
In conversation with 4moles.com, Yannik told “ there is no room for error on such courses, I started with a couple of bogeys and then got some birdies which made me feel much better. I was just focusing on my game today, and not thinking about it too much because I know there is much golf to play right now”.

Standing on the solo second position, another German star Marcel Siem who is almost double the age of Paul was the happiest on the final hole 18th, where he got a birdie putt. A total of 6 birdies went into his account. A disastrous bogey on 14th was the only bogey for him on the third day of Indian Open ata DLF Golf and Country Club.
Getting a solo third position in the Indian Open, three bogeys for the day were little disappointing for Joost Luiten from Netherlands, but he still managed to get his name in top-5 on the leaderboard.
There were two other players who Tied-4 with Veer Ahlawat, Including Thailand’s Classic winner Thorbjorn Olesen , who is ranked 5th in the DP World Tour Ranking and already have 7 DP wins in his account. A bogey free round on the third day made him stand in the top-5 with six birdies starting with 1st, 10th, 12th, 13th, 15th and 18th.

In the same position, another player was from Spain, Jorge Campillo. Starting well with a birdie on the 1st hole, he parred the next two, with a well finish to the front nine. Back nine was a little disappointing with two consecutive bogeys on the 10th and 11th.
Other Indians including Angad Cheema and Honey Baisoya tied 7th and 10th respectively. Angad hit 4-under while honey accounted for 3-under by the end of the third round in the Indian Open 2023.
