Currently World No. 2 Scottie Scheffler from USA is now in a lead by the end of the second round of the prestigious PGA Championship at Oak Hill Country Club. He shared the first position with Corey Conners, and Viktor Hovland.
Initially in the second round, Scottie Scheffler birdied the 14th to go to five under par, one behind Corey Conners. He had been quiet for a while, but kept himself in contention and now finds himself just one shot behind.

He putt on the last hole to save par but it goes just past the hole. He dropped to five under par and joined leaders again. Playing with Scheffler was Brooks Koepka, who had a storming back nine and is -2 for the second round of the tournament. he shot 5-under (67,68) on the second day of the tournament on the PGA Tour.
Corey Conners had hit a glorious bunker shot at 17 to a couple of feet. He tried up to save his par and remain at -5. But once again Scottie Scheffler found himself out of position after two shots on a long par-four. Corey dunked his second at 8 into a bunker guarding the front-right of the green.

This Canadian star tried to get a bogey free round until he had one on 7th. He teed off from 10th. With 5-under (67,68) he accounted for three birdies in the round.
Another leader of the day, Viktor Hovland shot 67 and closed with a birdie after sticking his second from 180 yards to five feet! For him it was a 67 and a share of the lead! In his group it was Jordan Spieth and Shane Lowry, where Spieth birdied the 15th but it was a par shot for Viktor. on the 14th.

Hovland tried to smash the cover off the ball and nearly send it out of bounds on the left, fortunate enough to see his ball into the surrounding fence and bounce back. Sharing the lead with the other two he got 5-under (68,67) with a bogey free back nine.
Indian Anirban Lahiri was not able to make the cut by the end of the second day of the event at Oak Hill Country Club. he played 7-over (74,73) with four bogey shot in the second round. He birdied the 16th.
Leader of the first day, Bryson DeChambeau finished the second round with Tied-4 hitting 3-under (66,71). on the last hole, 18th Bryson DeChambeau can’t make his par putt either, also missing to the left, and that’s a bogey on the hole. He signed for a 71 that could have been worse after a front nine of 38. He went into the weekend well placed at -3, just two off the lead.
