I retired as Maj General from the Indian Army on 30 Nov 2000. My last assignment was Additional Director General Telecom and IT at Army Headquarters of the Indian Army. Apart from various Operational assignments I have to my credit conceptualisation of Army Static Switched Communication Network (ASCON), Defence Communication Network, Army Value Added Network (AVAN) , Army Satellite Communication Network and Army Tactical Area Network. I got a large portion of ASCON, AVAN and Army Satellite Network executed, completed and commissioned. I got the execution of Defence Communication Network, Army Tactical Area Network and remaining parts of the other networks started. Apart from Post Graduation I have done Senior Defence Management Courses. My passion is Projects. After Retirement I have worked in a Telecom Compay for 2.5 years, Planned raising of a Big University in Dubai and have held large number of Consultancy assignments. I have travelled exetisively in India and abroad. I enjoy playing Golf. I am member of Noida Golf Course and Army Golf Course Delhi.
