About me: I was born and brought up in Faridabad where I started playing Golf at Aravalli Golf Club when I was 10 years old. My father introduced me to the game and I instantly fell in love with it. As I got older and got a little better we joined DLF Golf & CC. I learned at the academy at DLF for a couple of years and soon after moved to Florida to further improve my game. I did my high schooling in Orlando, Florida and got offered a scholarship to play for University of South Florida’s golf team. Played four years of Division I college golf under Coach Steven Bradley. I graduated in July 2018 with an undergrad degree in communication and marketing, which I also consider as one of my bigger achievements. Being able to balance a busy golf schedule along with studies taught me some great life lessons.

Why Golf and not any other sport: I’m obsessed with the sense of accomplishment you get from a good round of golf. It’s a physical sport but it’s just as much mental which makes it so unique and different from any other sport in my opinion.

Golfing achievement: Winning the All India Amateur in 2015 was a big accomplishment for me. It’s the only amateur event I ever played in India and it’s nice to see my name on the list of champions.

What would I like to change about the game: Golf is in a great spot right now but I would love if we had walk up songs on the first tee at tournaments. That would attract some crowds!
