At just 15 years old, Kartik Singh has emerged as a beacon of hope and talent in Indian golf, capturing the attention of enthusiasts and professionals alike. His recent performance at the International Series India, where he became the youngest Indian to make the cut in an Asian Tour event, is a testament to his dedication and skill.

Born in Kochi, India, Kartik's tryst with golf began at the tender age of six. Accompanying his father Captain Dhananjay Kumar Singh (Retired) to the Navy Golf Course ignited a passion that would shape his future. His innate talent was evident from the outset, impressing coaches and peers alike.

Kartik is currently enrolled in the Ontario Virtual School, Northern Pre-University in Canada, which allows him to balance academics with his rigorous training schedule. This flexible educational setup ensures he can focus on both his studies and golf career without compromise.

Competing at the DLF Golf and Country Club in Gurugram, Kartik showcased remarkable composure, carding a one-under-par 71 to comfortably make the cut. Sharing the course with luminaries like Bryson DeChambeau and Anirban Lahiri, he held his own, proving his potential to compete at the highest level.
Kartik’s 2025 calendar is shaping up to be one of the busiest seasons of his career. Since his 15th birthday on January 5, he has already played four consecutive tournaments, logging 19 rounds in 17 days. His schedule includes:
February – Representing India in South Africa for two open amateur events.
March – Competing in the Junior Invitational at Sage Valley, also known as the Junior Masters.

Looking ahead, Kartik’s ultimate goal is to compete on the PGA Tour. A potential stepping stone for him is collegiate golf in the U.S., where many of the world’s top professionals have honed their skills. With his current trajectory, he is well on his way to becoming one of India’s greatest golf exports.
