Bhullar secured entry through his 8th position on the Asian Tour’s International Series Order of Merit, earned from his commanding victory at the BNI Indonesian Masters. His compatriot, Karandeep Kochhar, who earned a spot based on his 15th place standing on the Asian Tour’s International Series Order of Merit, fell short in the first round, shooting an even-par 72 and missing the cut by two strokes.

The event featured 73 top golfers, selected by invitation, with an initial 60 players in the competition. The top 20 from the opening round competed against the remaining 13 for a chance to qualify for the final two rounds. The coveted LIV Golf card for the 2024 season was at stake, with the top three finishers securing this prestigious status.

Triumphant players who earned LIV Golf status included Kieran Vincent from Zimbabwe, sibling to Torque GC’s Scott Vincent, who competes on the LIV Golf circuit. Finland’s Kalle Samooja claimed victory in the qualifier, demonstrating exceptional skills, while Japan's Jinichiro Kozuma secured a coveted spot, completing the trio of qualifiers for the 2024 season.

As a result, Anirban Lahiri remains the sole Indian representative in the LIV Golf League for the 2024 season.
