The Japanese golfer, Rikuya Hoshino, clinched victory in the tournament with a stellar performance, finishing at 14 under overall and securing a one-stroke win over Frenchman Ugo Coussaud. His impressive four under par final round propelled him to his first DP World Tour title and earned him a handsome prize of $425,000.

Hoshino is the second Japanese player to win on the tour in five months.

A 27-year-old entered the final round of the tournament tied for the lead with two others. He managed to pull ahead with a four under par round, finishing at 14 under overall, securing a one-stroke victory over Frenchman Ugo Coussaud.

The Japanese player, who has won six times on the Japan Golf Tour, took the lead early in the final round with a birdie on the second hole. Despite a couple of bogeys, he turned at one under par with a pair of birdies. Another birdie at the tenth hole put him in a tight competition with Coussaud for the win.

This win also makes him the second Japanese player to win on the tour in five months, earning him a handsome prize of $425,000.

Scott Jamieson from Scotland set the early lead with a remarkable seven under par round, finishing at 12 under overall. He secured third place in the tournament. Past champion Antoine Rozner of France tied for sixth place with Denmark’s Rasmus Højgaard and England’s Paul Waring.

The victory propelled the Japanese golfer to second place on the Race to Dubai Rankings and sixth on the International Swing Rankings.
