About me: I am 19 and this is my second year in the professional circuit. I have been playing golf for 11 years now. I hail from a military/medicine background, my father is a Brig and my mom is a doctor.
Golf chose me: I would like to believe that golf chose me. As a kid, I was always outdoors, I would have not thought about golf on my own. However, funnily enough, my parents bought a golf set for my sister and to be honest, she was really interested in the game. But, as time passed, she just stopped playing. This was when our coach started focusing on me and I fell in love with the game.
Golfing achievements:
I have won Faldo Asian Grand Finals in China 2016
Finished as the Best Amateur at the Hero Indian Open in 2016.
Represented India at the World Amateur Team Championship.
I was the Youngest Indian to get the Asian Tour Card in 2017.
This Season I have had 5 top ten finishes which include 2 top 5 on the PGTI tour.
