About me: I am Prarthana Khanna and I am 10 years old. I study in Grade 4 of The Shri Ram School, Aravali. I started playing golf when I turned 6 and have been playing tournaments since age 7. I am being coached by Pritam Saikia at Ultimate Golf Performance Center.

Why Golf and not any other sport: Golf has been and will always be my first love. However, I am actively pursuing Air Pistol Shooting and became the youngest Renowned Shooter –i.e- A National level Shooter, after qualifying at the 62nd National Shooting Championship held at Kerala this month. I also enjoy playing soccer on weekends.

Interesting Moment:  It happened at the Callaway Chrome Soft Challenge at  ITC where the Pros were equally excited to see me play with them.

What would you like to change about Golf:  I would like to answer this with reference to Junior Golf.  I feel it would be in the interest of the game and the development of the player if parent involvement can be cut down.

My Dream 4-ball: Would Love to play with Vani Kapur, Gaurika Bishnoi and Tvesa Malik.  Hopefully soon, as I know them well and they are equally fond of me.

Challenges of a Junior Golfer:  Finding the right balance between school and sports has been a task for all junior golfers. However, it can be managed by following a well-planned timetable in a disciplined manner.

My aim in Life: My ultimate aim is to turn professional and play on the LPGA and Ladies European Tour in the coming years. I would also like to contribute to the growth of the sport in India, given the opportunity.
