The lineup for the HSBC Women’s World Championship 2024 at Sentosa Golf Club in Singapore is set to showcase an array of Asian talent alongside international stars. The tournament, scheduled from February 29 to March 3, promises a thrilling competition as four standout players receive coveted invitations to compete among the world’s top athletes.
In Gee Chun HSBC Women’s World Championship 2023
In a significant announcement, Korea’s In Gee Chun, a three-time major champion, leads the pack of invitees. Chun, renowned for her prowess on the course, including a victory at the 2022 Women’s PGA Championship, brings her stellar record to the prestigious event.
Joining Chun is Chinese sensation Muni He, whose meteoric rise in the LPGA Tour has captured attention both on and off the fairways. He, known for her success at the Prasco Charity Championship and her influence in the fashion world, is poised to make a statement in her debut at Asia’s major championship.

Also making her debut is China’s Miranda Wang, fresh off a victory at the IOA Championship and a series of impressive performances on the Epson Tour. Wang’s inclusion adds further depth to the Asian contingent, reflecting the region’s growing dominance in women’s golf.
Rounding out the quartet is Shi Yuting, a JLPGA player who returns to the tournament after her debut last year. Yuting’s experience and skill on the course make her a formidable contender among the elite field.

In addition to the seasoned professionals, 15-year-old Singaporean amateur Chen Xing Tong earned her spot at the championship after a commanding victory at the HSBC Women’s World Championship National Qualifying. Chen’s remarkable performance secured her a coveted LPGA debut, highlighting the tournament’s commitment to nurturing young talent.

24-year-old Miranda Wang added, “I am extremely thankful to HSBC for awarding me this invitation and providing me the amazing opportunity to compete in Asia’s major for the first time. Playing on the LPGA tour has always been my dream, and I am so excited to have the opportunity to make my second appearance in just a couple of weeks. Spending last year playing on the Epson Tour has taught me so much and hopefully by learning from these incredible experiences, I will achieve LPGA status by 2025.”
