Golf careers tend to last up to only 45 years of age.

According to a study conducted in 2013, the average age of a PGA Tour golfer is around 35-years-old. Considering the fact that one needs to take a course and a training of at least 4.5 to 5 years and then after playing major tournaments finally can be called a pro, it is time consuming and a very slow process till one finally hits a big career out of the sport. But as the topic goes, a career in golf will not be able to go beyond 45 years of age as the human body starts to go through changes that make you somewhat unfit to continue the sport if you have not properly maintained yourself.
