                       “Golf for a Noble Cause”

“affording opportunities to the under privileged talented kids”

THE VISION                          is to provide opportunities to the under privileged talented kids from lesser known background and to bring them into the mainstream golf family with the appropriate support, motivation and encouragement for the Indian youth and to hone their talent to achieve and become world class golfers. The golfers of India need to give it back to this noble game with the belief that India has abundant reserves of un-tapped talent which has shown the potential to be world beaters with the right support, motivation and the much needed financial and moral encouragement.

 THE  MISSION                   India’s golfing landscape has seen some rising stars from lesser known background. To name a few (who got the right opportunity and encouragement) Ali Sher and Rashid Ali (Indian Open Winners), Ashok Kumar, Chingarappa and now the upcoming promising child prodigy Shubham Jaglan. There are many more, waiting to be recognized and given the opportunity and support. This movement “Golf for a Noble Cause” is to commence a feasible format for its base operations through Sponsored Golf Events  to raise funds for this noble cause.

 

FOUNDER’S PHILOSOPHY    “Golf for a Noble Cause” aims to encourage the caddies to come forward, excel in the game and display their talent provide the platform for their growth and to compete at the National level and ultimately establish India International Golf. To make a beginning, a few really talented kids shall be picked up and groomed in all aspects within the resources.

 “Golf for a Noble Cause”      through economic endowment aims to provide scholarships, medical care, nourishment, specialized grooming, golf equipment, clothing, meditation & yoga to educate them on the vital importance of personal confidence through health & mental strength, pursuance of studies to obtain educational qualification of graduation level, provide guidance and to foster job placements to make them self-reliant and financially independent alongside a golfing career, provide financial assistance to participate in domestic and international golf tournaments, and provide the talented/upcoming/promising young golfers (Junior boys & girls) with modern state of art golf equipment, professional coaching, simulators, swing analysis and technical assistance from qualified golf experts.

 Remember,                                   these  Caddie Boys come from a lesser privileged background, carry the golf bag to earn a pittance. Education and nourishment are lacking. To prevent them from venturing into the lure of drugs, narcotics and crime , “Golf for a Noble Cause” has ventured to bring them into the mainstream, which can perform with support from the willing and large hearted. The movement needs financial support for which “The Caddies Golf Foundation Fund” has been created to receive donations for this ‘noble cause’ from India and abroad.

 INAUGURAL FUND RAISER TOURNAMENT

The provide impetus, “Golf for a Noble Cause” shall kick-start is endeavor with ‘fund raising charity tournament’ to provide the necessary platform. With the support of 501 Field Survey Engineer Group (Pioneers of Military Survey in India since 200 years) and HQ Uttarakhand Sub Area, the ‘Inaugural Fund Raiser Tournament” is being conducted at the picturesque Mountain View Golf Course, Dehra Dun from Thurs 7^th to Sun, 10^th August 2014. The event may be marked with the presence of sporting legends of the likes of Kapil Dev, Sachin Tendulkar to promote the cause, and some stars from Bollywood to afford attraction and status. The Prize Distribution Gala Dinner shall be hosted at a five star hotel (suitably sponsored).

THE CADDIES CUP
Thurs, 7th August 2014 at MVGC Dehra Dun.  Expected participation by 80 caddies from across the Hill Region to give them them an opportunity. They are the lesser privileged, living below poverty line. Trophy & many other prizes shall be given away. Each caddie shall get 'good bag' containing T Shirt, Cap, Sox, 1 pair Shoes, Sleeve of 3 golf balls, 1 towel in addition to cash (depending upon the donations received). Top 2 caddies shall get scholorships. This mission aims to bring them into active participation and keep them away from entering the world of drugs and crime. This is just a small begining which needs support.

The undersigned founded this movement which has a team of ardent golfers (like minded) all supporting the mission. The registration process is underway. We look forward to receiving donotions for this noble cause. Valued support can come in the form of SPONSORSHIP  for the tournament  "The Great Arc Classic" being conducted atDEHRADUN) MOUNTAIN VIEW GOLF COURSE (AEPTA hosted bt 501 Field Survey Engineer Group (Military Surveyor Group of the Indian Armed Forces).

Participation is by invitation. Only for Amateurs.
