hole in other one

image
Posted by Puneet Singh Chhatwal 04 May 2010
Hi, to everybody on  4moles.com

If somebody hits a tee shot, the ball fades to other fairway and goes in other hole(last sunday one of my partner played a tee shot from hole no.5 the ball fades to other fairway and goes in hole no.4). Is it rite to say it a hole in one or not....................or will it be a hole in one?

@Randeep: .. on a lighter note...along with the ball, pls get the cup laminated too...alt. you can think of installing a placard with your name scribed on it near that hole. :)

this is a very nobel thought of giving it as hole in one....coz for real hole in one you got to be lucky more than a ace golfer....getting the green and hole of other fairway you have to be doubly lucky...though the score card will not recognise the four ball must reward him the "other hole in one " title....cheers

i thought exactly the same on my last trip to driving range. I was using my driver and few really bad drives sliced above the trees and i told to my partner that probably they are dropping on the adjacent greens. :)

:-) ... it is not a hole-in-one .... he will get a drop outside that green, away from the actual pin ... and play his next shot.
