The Golf terrain has spawned a gallery of inspirational women golfers who’ve proved themselves with their athletic prowess. Thailand’s 29-year-old Jasmine Suwannapura is a perfect testament to the same.
Jasmine, which’s been playing along with 12 other Thai Professional Golfers, has been on a great run and is currently lying at Tied 14th at Women’s Scottish Open that is being played at Dundonald Links, Scotland. She shot a solid 68 after a solid opening round that included five birdies.
While Moriya Jutanugarn is positioned at Tied 18th, her sister Ariya lies at Tied 95th on the tour that’s jointly organised by Ladies Professional Golf Association and Ladies European Tour.
“All the 12 girls are professional golfer playing in Thailand. A lot of them are younger than me but I kind of know them. So it's good to see that the Trust Golf actually bring Thai golfer from Thailand who give them a chance, a whole dream to come here and play LPGA TOUR and co-sanctioned with LET. I think that it's showing that they give people a chance, an opportunity for Thai people.”
It would be interesting to see how the other Thai golfers fare at the Scottish Open.
